to Spindletop Refuge Spindletop Refuge is dedicated
to the successful rehabilitation and rehoming of homeless, abused and
neglected dogs for over eighteen years, specializing in the APBT and
AST. Spindletop will and does, also help other breeds. Spindletop is
located in Texas but helps dogs from all over the country. All dogs are
spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and crate/obedience
trained. Responsible indoor homes
only. Sorry it has taken so long to keep everyone updated.
When I get back from LA, I have enough down time to place the dogs in
their foster homes, upload images on Petfinder, gather dogs that need
to go BACK to LA to their families and I leave again. This time I
have been a tad under the weather so I have spent more time at home,
thus...the update! : )

Leah has been working tirelessly since Katrina hit. She has spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years in NOLA and Mississippi rescuing dogs and reuniting dogs with owners.The work is by no means finished and we ask you to continue to help our efforts. For many who have lost everything their pets are their last link to their old lives and they miss them terribly as they would any missing family member.
